These are the rules behind every engagement, whether it is a two-week audit or a full build. If a project would break one of them, we say so before we quote it.

Rip-and-replace is a last resort. Most organizations own more capability than they use.
Design for the hand-off.
Every system ships with runbooks and training so it doesn’t depend on us, or on one heroic staff member.
AI with a human in the loop.
Agents draft, route and summarize. People approve anything that touches money, data or a customer.

What people ask on the first call.
We’re not a technical team. Will this work for us?
That’s who it’s built for. We do the setup, sit with your staff until it’s second nature, and leave plain-language guides. If it needs an engineer to run, we built it wrong.
Who actually does the work?
The Principal Solutions Architect you meet on the discovery call. No hand-off to a junior team.
How is it priced?
Two ways. A Starter Sprint is $3,000 flat for one workflow, live in a week. Everything larger is fixed scope, quoted in writing after the discovery call. No hourly billing, and no open-ended retainers unless you ask for ongoing support.
Do we have to replace our software?
Rarely. We start from what you own and integrate it. Replacement is recommended only when the audit shows it costs less than keeping it.
Is our data safe with AI tools?
AI agents run inside your own accounts with least-privilege access, and anything touching money, customers or contracts requires a human approval.
Do you train our team, or just set it up?
Both. Coaching is part of every build, and available on its own: sessions for owners and managers, AI literacy for staff, and a standing check-in as things change.
What if we only want the audit?
That’s a complete engagement on its own. The roadmap is yours to keep and hand to any builder, including your own staff.
Do you still work with nonprofits?
Yes, and we have since 2018. Strategic planning, executive coaching, board governance and grant writing remain core services, offered as capacity building and technical assistance directly to organizations or as a named consultant on funder-supported projects.
What does the AI actually touch?
Only what you approve, inside your own accounts. It drafts and prepares; a person on your team clicks yes on anything involving money, customers or contracts.
Can a funder or grant pay for your work?
Often. Capacity-building grants, technical-assistance programs and project budgets regularly cover strategy, systems and coaching engagements. Bring the funder’s guidelines to the call.

Your data stays in your accounts.
AI assistants and integrations run inside your own systems (your email, accounting, CRM and storage) with least-privilege access. We do not copy client business data onto Chronicles systems beyond what is needed to configure and support the work.
A person approves anything that matters.
Anything involving money, customers or contracts is drafted by AI and approved by someone on your team before it goes anywhere.
You know which AI vendors we use.
Every proposal names the AI providers and tools involved, under business terms, so you can approve them before a single record is processed.
You own everything we build.
Dashboards, workflows, prompts, documentation and outputs belong to you at the end of the engagement.
Access ends when the work does.
Our credentials are removed at hand-off, and anything we held during the project is deleted unless you ask us to keep it for support.
